Today: A CROP.

SUPER dog rocket. I'm a masochist, I guess. My truck is acting up and I'm trying to fix it before I have to leave at 4:30. Three hours. Deo volente.


Preflight: Th smell is a bit acrid. More "ammonia" than your usual cigar. Its leaving a funny taste on my lips. Draw is a bit loose. I'm getting lots of air through it. Taste isn't awful, but I'm coughing (prelight, mind you) after hard draws. There's familiarity to the cold draw, but I've smoked a (expletive deleted) RAMROD. Familiatrity isn't always good. My lips are nearly tingling after a few minutes holding this thing in my mouth.

Holy God. That loose draw and extra ammonia really stands out. A mouth full of smoke is a mere second away. Just lit, it tastes like the 3/3 of a good cigar. This doesn't bode well. The taste is "amazing" in an "awful" way. It's SOOOO STRONG! Like a tire is being burned in my mouth. At least that would kill the taste buds...

1inch in. Ash falls off. Abandon all hope...

You know that moment when you think "its pretty strong. Should I nub it?" its like that except crap. This thing is not helping my truck work. It makes me wonder if my wiring is en flambe.

I'm resting it on my tire for like 5 minutes. The taste in my mouth dies quickly, as does my morale. At this point, im picking up, no lie, salt. It tastes salty. As though I put too much salt on a breakfast ham after smoking a good cigar the night before and not brushing.

Into the 2/3. Foot is loosening. Tire is manning up and helping. Terminals are shot but I don't care. I can't think of anything other than this horrible taste. Really surprised how quickly it stops after I put it down though. After a few minutes is nearly tolerable. not enjoyable, but I'm not going to complain for small blessings!

I just hit an extraordinarily loose spot. It went out. I (sigh) relit. I gagged. Really.

It's burning SO fast! The taste in the throat and sinuses is just incredible. As in if I told you how bad this is, I would have no credibility. This thing is so acrid!!!

There's a feeling in my mouth like I just tested a nine volt. into the 3/3.

My dentist says he can't (won't, pussy) administer novacaine for QUOTE "no reason". I hate this cigar. So it's going down.

Yeah It really did surprise me because I was taking the packing and DRP bags out, one at a time. Lifted one bag up and BAM ! LOL

I love the Chillin Moose and the Chillin Moose Too. For the price they're super solid cigars that aren't just one note pony's (YMMV)

OK so my Dog Rocket Challenges will be as follows ! Although I got the 4 star flaming pukeshitz at the beginning of this pass with one of @Glassman 's toxic rockets, I will face the challenge and dive in for more. My turn to pay the devil !

I saw @Opie 's Super Dog Rocket Bag .... He's got like three A-CROP ( code name : O-CRAP ) in there. But @Avvatar already gave one of those a whirl, with stellar results.
So I grabbed one of the others in the bag . I decided to see how bad his Pinor Del Rio (code name: Senior Diarrhea ) will be.
Probably going to be a little tough.

BTW if anyone else want to join the ranks of me and Avvatar, there's still a couple of these Diarrheas bundled with the O-Craps.
I can't believe we're having this conversation.

BLACK PEARL ( code name: BLACK HURL ) This was in another DRP double-baggie. Apparently named after Johnny Depp's sunken ship of the damnned.
This is really going to be something.

Dog Rocket Challenge stick E6 , code name: ( eew ! sucks ! ) compliments of @EO80 .

I've even selected some excellent pairings for my adventure !

I didn't take a picture, .... because I didn't initially take this,..... but here's a stock photo of a Macanudo Portofino. I like the regular Connecticut Macanudo. But this green tube thing was in a bag and it smells like Vic's Vapo Rub. I don't know who put them in there but there's two with some quite strange Churchills. I think I'll pull this thing and give it a try during the DRP V-herf Finale Extravaganza !

Take n pulls follow up tomorrow. I think I can get this shipped out Saturday.
