  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

The roulette sticks, riding without cello protection, are already starting to take a beating (as I believe they're always done in the past) so I'm putting them in finger bags to hopefully preserve them a little better for the rest of their journey

Infuso-rockets are double bagged, I'm putting them in a 3rd bag just to be safe. Triple-bagging it - this is a new low, even by my standards...

Added 4 new dog rockets to the "super dog rockets" bag because I'm such a nice guy. And they were free. And they suck.

For the dog rocket games, I'm keeping E2 from the roulette bag, the Party NC from the infuso-bag, a pooping dog sticker (these are awesome Yan, lol) and a couple candies

Thanks Jamie. I didn't even think about finger bags for them.
Also, enjoy that roullete stick!

I had intended to bring mine to smoke oceanside, but surprisingly it did not make it in the suitcase. Oh well.
Jamie, go ahead and smoke that stick and tell me what you think!

Do the reviews need to be done in order? I was a 'little' busy this weekend and couldn't work up the nerve to light that damn thing. There's been so much WINNING posted in this thread as well....there's no way in hell can I live up to that hype!
@ApeSmokes @bwhite220 and @Bondo 440 BROKE the internet Brothers! BRAVO for your excellent Work!
[let's just shut this down now until the internet can recover] :sorry::sorry:

Fairly certain the rules state that if someone downstream from you posts up before you get on the board it's an extra rocket for you.
Or something like that. :)

Well... time to bring this thread back to the mortals. Time for my DRP stick review. I chose stick E4

I chose E4 because of the construction - Wrapper construction was of high quality with no tooth and some veins and no issues after I used my cuban crafter cutter on the tip. Pepper on the retro is very light and there some other spices and woods that I can't identify.

Into the 1st third I consulted the DRP flavor wheel and cannot put any terms toward this cigar. Burn line is sharp and ash quality and length are great.

Moving on to the 2nd third - I'm finding pretty much the same flavor as before with no big transitions. Burn line and ash are still great.
20180723_000411.jpg

On to the final third and this thing is still kicking along and not turning bitter or emitting anything that I can pull from the DRP wheel
20180723_002553.jpg

Well... I made it this far and I'm still alive ... I proceed to take it down to the nub.
20180723_003233.jpg

And here's where I'll stop and call it a day. This cigar was fine in my opinion - I'm going to guess that it's some type of Altadis product and it reminded me a lot of the one H. Upmann TheBanker that I smoked early on in this hobby.

@GoBison Nice job ! Not all the dog rockets are urine soaked lawn leaf filler with Vietnamese Fish Market paper wrap. The challenge bag are just some cheap cigars.
I shared your terror awaiting a toxic toilet transition that did not happen! Much Glory for you, Brave Bison ! ! You emerged victorious ! (y)
Wonder what is was ...

And GoBison keeps the action going ! He steps up to the Dog Rocket Challenge, and gets on the board without injury ! Glory !

only 3 victims before the box reaches me? I'm starting to get nervous now! is it too late to plan a vacation, move out of the country or go into the dog rocket protection program?

Congrats on finding a golden poop in that bag. You just smoke a Ramon Bueso Genesis! Not a bad one, just a budget stick.
