Weird, I Made one out of a charter oak lid a year or so ago, yours looks much better tho. I will add I have never used it because it still faintly smells of stain and clear coat and I didn't want that smell on my cigar.Its warm enough to work in the garage again, can't complain about 70 degree weather in Feb... Latest couple projects in process currently.
Have to use oak for something named charter oak right? Just a pic of a quick test fit before moving on to glue up and finishing.

That cello from the bundles they come in isnt very sturdy, I dont usually make gurkha trays bruh.So.. if you use oak for charter oak.. Do you use mfd or osb for gurkhas?
