Let's go to Dausset trails sometime. I need to get off my sedentary ass and start doing something. I've got a nice Trek with a fine layer of dust covering all.

I mountain bike and urban assault ride. I have a 24" specialized titanium frame cruiser for riding around town or at the bike park, Specialized rock hopper for the mountains, Dave Mirra 20" dirt jumper for park riding or street riding.

Well I've just got about a month or so on my new Specialized Hardrock Sport. I had to get the XL frame to fit my tall ass. I've already changed out the tires, upgraded the grips, added bar ends, changed the seat, and put on a computer that does more than I understand.

I'm riding 10 miles minimum every morning when I'm home during the week, 20 on Saturday or Sunday...mostly along the canal trails. Not hard, just gravel and loose rock. It makes you have to work for a mile vs. riding in the neighborhood...

I did take a trip to my first real mountain trail a few weeks ago. I was NOT ready for that one at all. It was a beginner course, but it's actually a competition track, not a trail! I almost died a couple of times, I swear! Some serious washes to go through. I'm gonna try it again in a couple of weeks now that my stamina is a lot better. I survived it, so that's a good thing...Beginners my ass!

Anyway, it's been a lot of fun and it's getting my ass off the couch. Bonus, the g/f likes to ride also, so it's kinda nice to have this to do together.

I use to, but I have not in about 7 years. I need to get back into riding some or just get rid of the bikes that are taking up space in the garage.

I bought a bike in the fall. I get out every couple weeks around town, and have done a couple "real" mountain bike trails around here. Pretty ridiculous stuff, I think flatter dirt trails are for me- not hiking trails with more vertical climbs and drops than I'd care to hike!
