My humidor conversion

Pretty looking humidor man.

A Cigar Oasis would suit your needs just fine for an active RH system. Keep a good 1lb. of beads too to prevent the RH from going too high, especially in the summer months or during lots of rain. Can get an Oust fan to help gently stir the air too.

I just ordered a pound today..I should get them within the next few days. The oasis is a nice system but i want to see what else is on the market as well.

Ron with Cigar Solutions sells a nice RH active system. They might be too large for your humidor. Send him an e-mail thru his site with the square footage and he will let you know. The Oasis system works great in my wine cooler which is about 3 square feet. I too have 1lb of 65% RH beads and an Oust fan.

12x12x12 inches is 1 square foot (1728 cubic inches). I believe you have about 3 square feet (5000 divided by 1728 = 2.89 sq. ft.) A Cigar Oasis would be prefect for that size IMO.
