Nascar time in Las Vegas

going to Vegas Saturday 2/27 - Monday 3/1.

the first and foremost reason for the trip: my daughter Stefanie turns 21 (and she wanted me to invite you guys,,, go figure!! hehe).

staying on the strip,,, a few of us are going to the race on Sunday.

plenty of notice!! join us for a good time!! it'll be a hoot!!

<bump> just purchased the airline tickets - arrive at noon on 2/27; depart at 2 on 3/1!! looks like we're leaning toward the Monte Carlo hotel....

Monte Carlo is a good choice. Good location on the strip, and not quite as loud and obnoxious as some of the other casinos. If you play poker they have a good poker room that is a little smaller, and kinda quiet.

I will miss you by a week. I am heading back to the Sin on the 21st.

I'll be at the race. We tail gate before and after right up close to the track in the handicap parking area. Usually about 6-8 of us there, father-in-law and his friends and my wife.

Seeing as how Elaine and I are scheduled to be in Nebraska from February 24th to March 3rd, I'd say it's safe to say that Todd and Rachel will be at the Race's. Something about a ten year anniversary and begging us to watch the Grand Kids for the weekend. You guy's keep an eye on them for us will ya? We would have been there, but, we are pretty busy that weekend.:disappoin:togetherl:waving:eace::yes:

It will either be cold or hot. It's one or the other with the Vegas race. Last year was actually one of the first decent years where it wasn't on the extreme side of the temps.

Rachel and I are going to be in Vegas that weekend, like Dad said, for our ten year anniversary. The primary purpose of the visit is the race.

We all have eachother's numbers...we'll figure it out.
