Specs:
Revolutionary multi-touch interface
3.5-inch widescreen color display
Wi-Fi (802.11b/g)
Safari, YouTube, iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store
8mm thin
8 or 16gig

They also released an iPod Nano w/ video

New iPhones too

But the touch screen is kick butt.

16 is perfect for me. If I have to much on it I cannot decide what to listen to. As for getting the iPhone I already have service with some one else.

The touch is VERY COOL, but with the Iphone price being lowered then I'd just get a classic and the Iphone :dunno:

The online browsing from a wireless network is nice too. Some thing quick and easy to check email with if there is access.

I got the 16g, its great for me. I put a couple movies, some pictures and a ton of music. If I have to much on it I won't be able to make up my mind on what to listen too.

I figure I have only about 8-9GB of music anyway. But, I'd still listen to podcasts, etc. and 15-20GB would be better.

the thing you have to remember though is that the biggest flash drive made is 16 gigs, anything above that you're using a hard disc, and you can't exercise with them or have them bounce around much.

plus i don't think i have the patience to browse through 80 gigs if i don't know exactly what i want to listen to.

So she's 9 and could possibly drop it or one of her friends drop it, so the Ipod Touch is out. I'd just get her an 8GB or 4GB Nano from the Apple store. But it really depends on what she's going to put on it? Music? Pictures? Movies? etc.?

Mostly music and some pics maybe, no movies.
