Certainly this question is a matter of taste. And time. Not too long ago, Dom dominated. Now, not so much, due to the evolving complexity of Nic strains & the tendency toward more full bodied blends. I think too mild & still trying to out Cuban the Cubans, when I see a Dominican vitola these days. I think strength, complexity & flavor when I see a Nicaraguan stogie & add that in my mind, they busted through the embargo wall years ago & now can barely see Cuba in the rear view. So, I'm a Nicaraguan tobacco guy. Throw in something Mexican &/or from Pennsylvania with Nicaraguan regional long fillers, then slap an Ecuadoran sun grown oscuro habano leaf on it. Hummm!
