  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Warner will be in the HOF, I dont think that much of a question after this year.
Tell that to Terrell Davis. Five of the best russhing years of any running back with two super bowl wins. He should have had be given the MVP for both, but the people again gave the QB to much credit.

Kurt Warner has only had 4 to 5 great years, and 2 to 3 way below average ones. Don't get me wrong I think he should, but they wont even put in Chris Carter. I mean come on Chris Carter is in the top five of every receiving catagory (second in most to only Jerry Rice) in history.

Warner won a ring and an MVP title in 2000, was part of the "greatest show on turf", and brought a Franchise with a history of LOSING to the super bowl and passed for nearly 400 yards. Everybody likes his story and his is genuinuly a nice guy.....he will be in on the first ballot.

As far as Carter goes he should have been inducted last year, but how many rings does he have?
Again we give two much credit for super bowl wins. What about TD he is not going to get in, and he carried the Broncos to two super bowl wins.

By the way how many super bowl win did Dan Marino have. Just to prove that winning the big game should have little to do (if any) with the HOF.

Warner will not get in on the first ballot. You have no idea how rare it is to get in on the first ballot.

My point was well below average on on Ben's side of the ball. best in the NFL on the other. You tell me who's back is hurting right now, it's not Ben's.

Wow, what a finish! I almost had a heart attack on 4 different occasions in that 4th quarter.

As for this Warner/Roesthlisberger nonsense you guys are talking about, they are two completely different kinds of quarterbacks and comparing them is pointless. This year's Steeler offense was not great, but to pin that on Big Ben is silly. Their offensive line, while improved, is still not very good. And their running game, usually their bread and butter, was not very good either this year. There is no way they even get to the playoffs without Ben this year (although Leftwich is a pretty good backup) Big Ben may not be the prettiest QB or put up the best stats, but he's a winner. He somehow finds a way to get it done. That's what the end result of every team is right? To say he's average is not really looking at his complete body of work.

Kurt Warner is a great story and I have alot of respect for him. He deserves consideration to the HOF.
