awright gentlemen...I brought it up to the lady friend again today during lunch...and I got the :thumbsup:

so count me in boys...of course assuming you don;t mind a green freakin newbie on your hands!:stretchgr

don't know the travel arrangements for sure yet, but it looks like we'll be driving in to westchester somewhere and leaving our car at a metro north station for the weekend. we'll porbably take the train into grand central and stay with my family who have a place in battery park city. probably come in sat late morning-early afternoon sometime and leave sometime monday. (we both have the entire following week off from work!). She'll be with me (not to Azucar though) and we figured we;d take the opportunity to enjoy the city for a while.

it was actually surprising easy to get the go-ahead from her. You guys were all correct, honesty was the way to go!

Just as a side note, is there going to be enough room fellas? I just counted it up and we're at about a dozen. What do you guys think?

Hmmm that might be something to consider based on how many folks are looking to attend this Herf. We might be getting a bit too big for the small lounge at Azucar's though the food there is much better then JR's.

If we get there early and take over the whole joint I think we will be OK. If there are others there it might be an issue and JR's might be a better fit

i just spoke to nizzle 1 and 2, and they are in!

if we do the JR's thing, i may be able to get a couple more nizzles.. why these nizzles wouldnt come to azucar is beyond me, but they are fans of JR's..


I will wait to hear the decision, but consider me and my 2 nizzles definites for either place.
