I've had probably 10 Fuente Fuente from this release and they are smoking wonderfully. What we need to understand is that 6 months is not aging a cigar, after 6 months, a cigar is just starting to rest. Opus tobacco is cured in rum barrels, then rolled into cigars and aged for a year. However we also need to understand that the tobacco used for this years Opus is not just a year old, more likely than not, it's from somewhere around the 2000 crop. Smoke that some bitch, they'll make more and six months will do nothing to change that cigar, 5 years will, however, do you really want to wait 5 years to smoke that Opus? And if you do, how will you know how it compares to a freshie?
