Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Yep...if they do have a deal under the table, they will ALWAYS officially deny, deny, deny, to protect themselves and their families from the Govt...If I'm not mistaken and I could totally be wrong but isn't Cuba a communist/socialist country? Couldn't these farmers/master rollers get into trouble from majorly profiting on the side especially if they admitted to it?
He thinks he knows a lot more than he does. While I am skeptical of Drews claims on these cigars Nino has an agenda against Drew which is clear as day from his posts on another board. Lucky for Nino he has a blog to spout off on with no way for the other side to dispute his claims.I think Nino thinks he knows more than he does and could potentially harm some little xtra food money for some people.
To me, even if they are not legit, I think they are wonderful tastey cigars! I for one also think they are legit cuban tobacco. Now trying to prove that they came from certain farm will be a daunting task (especially with the Cuban Gov't hanging over people's heads).all i know is... that if i want to believe that these cigars are legit, i really have to try... i have to ignore a whole lot of inconsistencies and have faith in nudges and winks from someone who stands to profit. maybe i am too skeptical... but this whole thing has looked awful fishy from the get go.

Gotta love the web, any asshole with a website can become an authority on almost anything.
I know all about what Drew did on ICC and have been skeptical of his actions on other boards for some time. For the record I wasn't calling Nino an asshole I was using the term as a generality for web bloggers. I don't know if he is beyond reproach. He has a blog with pretty pictures and nice cigars but that's all we know about him. The only people that are beyond reproach to me are the ones that I know personally and who's actions Have proven them so.This...
Goes both ways bro. I don't even talk to Nino, I just know he's beyond reproach. Drew burned bridges at another forum and I hope he doesn't do the same here. It's funny how by just moving forums one thinks the past is left behind.
No, he's a cuban cigar vendor.I know nothing about this story, and the blog by Nino does not really shed any light on that. Is Drew the guy from Drew Estates?
Any links that I can read up on this would be appreciated.
