got a debit card and an online account to my bank.

plus when i get my paycheck each week, i first figure out how many bills wont get paid after cigar purchases.... LOL

We both get paid once a month...the last working day of the month. Both checks get directly deposited into our joint account. I have all bills coordinated to be paid by around the 7th so I sit down on the 30th and pay all bills online, leave about $600 in the joint account for groceries for the month, and then transfer $500 into Heather's account and $300 into mine for our play money for the month. In a matter of 30 minutes, I am done with finances until the next 30 days.

I use online banking for bills, and I put all out going bills on a Excel sheet to keep track which ones I have paid and not. I only write about 15 checks a year. 12 of them go to my daughters daycare(they only take checks or MO) so if it wasnt for them I would probaly give up checks.

I use online banking, it is great, easy, and my check book come out each month .....
