My dear Killy has passed away today...I loved her very much, she brought many happy moments to our family. She was very ill and we decided to let her go, she had some wonderful 14 years with us and this was the least we could do for her. This is a photo of her from maybe 9 years ago

Our 12 week old Weimaraner named Wyatt

My friend had six of them. You have to keep them exercised or they will get into trouble. They also have a crazy prey drive. It wasn't uncommon to find small animals like rabbits and feral cats dead in his back yard. They are great dogs if you are consistent and firm in training. Otherwise they can end up with severe behavior issues.

All of that being said, they are great dogs. They are loyal and very protective of their family and space, plus they are loving. I have thought about trying to find one that is already trained to keep my pit bull company.
