I recently ordered a sampler from http://www.milantobacco.com/ and while I am still pretty new to pipes, they had some very tasty offerings and what seems to me to be very high quality tobacco. I usually don't care much for aros, but theirs have been really tasty. Especially their "Butter Berry" blend.
After you do your cigar noob trade come and do the pipe trade, we would love to help you try more.
Thanks brother! I will and look forward to it. I've been bit hard by the pipe bug. In a few months I've managed to gather 6 briars and about 3 pounds of 'baccy. There's so much out there it's hard to choose sometimes.

I haven't noticed anyone post tobaccopipes.com ( http://www.tobaccopipes.com/tobacco-pipes/ ), which kind of makes me nervious because I just bought from them lol.

Anyway - they were easy enough to buy from. I'll let you know how it all goes when I get the product.
Don't worry, tobaccopipes has fine service. I have placed several orders with them with no issues. Gonna order a Peterson St Paddy's day pipe from them soon!

How have I not heard of them before.
It would seem that the original list first compiled in 2005 is a little (ok - a lot) outdated (many of the links are no longer valid). Maybe it's time to create a new list? Below is a list of the vendors I have both personally used (can vouch for), and those I have heard of in 2015. Please feel free to copy and paste my list with your additions/inputs.

I really think there is value in this for the noobs. As a noob, knowing of others success and where to look was of great value. I know that buying from Italy had me a little nervous, but the service I got was extraordinary!

It's taken awhile, but I have just finished going to every link/site in this thread so far and I want to thank everyone for posting them. There are certainly pipes from Savinelli, Dunhill, and Peterson than I like and really want, but a lot of these other sites list pipes from artists whose work isn't prolific enough to end up on P&C or SmokingPipes. So, going through these links has introduced me to a whole new group of pipe makers that I've never heard of - many of whom are producing some absolutely stunning pieces.

I've personally used Cup O' Joe's a couple times. They don't provide tracking on orders but service was good.

Good evening bros. I posted in the main Intro thread but figured I'd say Hi here too! I started on pipes about 6-7 years ago with a Savinelli. A buddy of mine pointed me to http://www.vtpipes.com/index.html this site. Several of their blends have done real well in my bowls. My collection also includes a Meer that I bought as a POTY from another forum. Then I added a hand made pipe that I just fell in love with at a retailer in NJ, but then got peeved when he wouldn't let me smoke it in the shop, which was empty at the time. Said the seats were all reserved for cigar smokers. Had already dropped a few hundred between cigars and this pipe. Walked out and NEVER went back. Well, just one more thing FWIW. I passed by a large luggage store one day. Walked in and they had this leather Dopp kit on closeout for $10. Voila, my new pipe bag! Will send pics when I dig evertything out of the basement after my recent relocation.

Welcome! Can't believe the lounge wouldn't let you smoke in the same damn place that sold you the pipe. Ridiculous!
