  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Problem with Palio cutters

My original (from 2008) is still going strong. At least 1700 cigars later if not more. I won't bring it to herfs. Too valuable in my mind. I have two others I bought as back ups for the next 20 years. (The others are USA built as well)

All of mine quit on me, had various problems, etc. My local wasn't happy about their "new" return policy… And couldn't replace mine on the spot. I tried contacting them, even sent a private message to someone through the forum… I never got a response. Unbelievably bad customer service (for me).

I threw them in the trash and started using other cutters.

Just my two cents, I'm sure others have had great success as mentioned elsewhere in this thread.

I just stick to scissors these days. I had a Palio and liked it, but after some heavy use it started falling apart so I switched. Nice cutter, but there's better options out there IMO.

Mine is still going strong after 11 years. Have a couple more than I haven't even used yet, so I think I'm good for life. :)
