Props to Xikar

The singular reason i chose the xi cutter and the eris is because of what people had said about xikar's warranty. I am 100% confident that they will honor the warranty no matter what.

Love the products and the people at Xikar! I have a cutter I need to send in for repair, when I do I'm sure it will be taken care of ASAP.

I know a lot of you are worried about shipping it in, and waiting. However, you can take them back to any shop that sells Xikar, and get it replaced there. I've done this with 2 lighters that were having burner issues. Swapped out on the spot, with no questions. I think you can even choose to do an upgrade at that point. At least, the last time I went in, they said "your lighter sells for $50, so you can have that towards any Xikar". I swapped lighter models at that point and couldn't be happier.

I think this might be at the shop's discretion. I asked at 2 of the shops here in Atlanta and both of them told me they would swap but only for an identical item.

Xikar is the best - replaced a broken cutter for me with a new one.

I was in line at Cigars International waiting to buy some smokes. While in line, I turn to my friend Derek (Derek88) and tell him how I need to send my Xikar cutter in for repair as it isn't closing properly. The gentleman at the counter overhears the conversation, asks me for my cutter, takes it, and places a brand new one into my hands. Apparently if anything goes wrong with your Xikar device, you can take it into any licensed Xikar dealer and they'll swap it out on the spot. I love the brand and their lifetime warranty.
