Let me start by saying that I do not want to offend anybody. But I must ask this.
We all strive to keep our cigars at nice temps, and good humidity etc... But when they are shipped, we can control the humidity with some sort of boveda pack or something along that line... but we can't control the temperature in the postal truck, warehouses etc...
From what I understand, Cigar Beatles hatch in higher temperatures, and can spread from one cigar to the next and so on.
My question is, Do you guys "quarantine" cigars you receive trough bombs or trades? If so, how do you do it? zip top bag with humidity pack inside for a couple days/ weeks at the proper temperature, or do you guys freeze them, move them to the fridge, then into your humidors?
Thanks in advanced for all the answers and tips you guys can (and have) provide (provided)
