  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Question for all my Tatuaje friends???

Okay guys...Give me time to get the list together......

BTW, just to clear things up, Tim is not really pissed off at me and I am not pissed at him. They played it off as a battle royal to take away my heavyweight sales belt. This will be good now that we involved donating money to Prostate Cancer. So now this is all for a good cause and I'll still kick his butt.

Thanks guys......
Pete that is awesome that you guys are doing this for a good cause. I especially like that you are doing it for prostrate cancer as that is one that always seems to get overlooked when there are charity events for an illness.

Alright... For charity makes this less of a bad thing to me I think. As long as some clear good is coming from this (Other than the ass whooping someone is gonna catch)

100% honest opinion from me? I enjoy boxing. But boxing as a sport; something I learnt from a coach once was that: "if after a fight ye can't go with yer opponent to have a drink, it isn't worthy of the name." Then I saw the "motivation" behind it all. And yerself being the King of Marketing (I love yer stuff, and after all, ye're a salesman (and a bloody good one, at it); so it's not in the negative side), I saw this as something else. Now, to answer yer question, I agree with Duane: DO NOT back on yer word if ye gave it. It's all we really have. I saw profit will go to prostate cancer, so that's neat (any chance of lung cancer? Us smokers might need tobe thought of better :smokingbo). Just be sure ye can sit downand have a drink with Tim later. Same advice goes for him if he reads this.

The charity aspect of the fight should change the perception of the whole event. It doesn't sound so odd now. I say go for it. Backing out now wouldn't seem right.

Now thats what I call a cause. Most men will battle Prostate CA in there life time. Bringing this to light might have some guys go to the doctor earlier and save their life.

whew. see what happens when you're away for only 3 hours.... let's see now, in order:

1. probably a good thing to go forward with it, with all the publicity.

2. I like the idea of it being for charity.

3. PM sent.

4. glad you're going forward with it. glad it's for charity!

I think it is a little bit cheesy, but since it is going for a good cause I guess it's ok.

you might be a bit late on the PM. But if I was in time for it... Anything I receive, consider half yours.

I agree the charity route is the way to go Pete. I think your product speaks for itself and you do not need to do anything cheezy like that to sell your product. Now if you had an inferior product and needed to get some cheap publicity stunt then that might work. But like everyone on here, your product speaks volumes about the hard work that you have put into your cigars and you don't need the cheezyness.

I was considering buying a ticket for $30 but it was the lingerie show that caught my eye. I'll be there on Saturday, the next day so I'll be missing your appearance. Give him hell Pete and watch his left hand!
