  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

alright ... so my question is ... whats the rarest cigar you've had or you still have in storage ...
like not just something from 1900 ... maybe a cigar that only 100 have been made or something like that ...
if you have a picture or can take a picture ... why dont you show it too =D
regrettably i dont have any rare cigars ... so its all up to you guys to fill this post with fantastic pictures =D

Nothing too special here - Tat Frank and Black would be my faves.

I also have a weird hexagon shaped CAO La'Anniverserie Holiday press. Not too many were made.

Can't wait to see what some people have hiding out!

I personally dont really get that excited about rare, I deffinetly can appreciate high quality sticks that may not have been produced in a very large capacity(Tat Black, Opus). Or a once large scale cigar that after decades of age they are no longer made and hard to find(1940 prinz henri's). But making something too rare or too unique tends to be self destructive.

That being said, I am also curious none the less, my money is on Mitch or Scott... Well have to wait and see.

Hmmm... I have a lot of vintage sticks if that's rare. Old Avo LEs, LE5s, Legacys, one European Avo 22. Some old Davidoff LEs like the Vintage 2000 Panetela. Aged Opus, GOFs and DC Annis. Cyrann sent me a bunch of aged Kelner stuff (but they won't last long). Plus some of the harder to get Tats and Illusiones. Most of my CC boxes are still under 10yrs. Oh, i do have one AF Don Arturo Gran Anniverxario.

ah bill, but every cigar you smoke is rare because you are looking at the ocean with warm tropical winds blowing over the beach.

Pretty much the same as above... I have a couple boxes of Tat Franks and BTL, some WOAM, Tat Noella Reservas, a box of of LE05, a box of CAO Holiday Press 2008... Oliva MB1, 2 and 3 boxes....the CAO soprano five cigar shapes.... some other limited release stuff (LG Diez, LGC limitado..etc...) but nothing like the rare Opus (football, chili pepper, etc...). I had some pre-embargo Montes, but smoked them two years ago when I got married... I had some BBMF once.. but sold them online... just couldn't bring myself to light them up. If I won't smoke it.. I won't keep it... I prefer to let someone else enshrine it...and then let me smoke it...

I am smoking a rare cigar right now. Used to belong to a Mr. David Johnson from Chicago, Illinois. Quite tasty!

I don't really have any super-rare sticks.

CAO Maduro Napoleon (that stubby figurado they used to make)
A few Tatuaje Jibaros
A box of oscuro (2006) Tatuaje Noellas Reservas.

Haven't really gotten into vintage cigars, what with my college budget and all!
Oh I did get to try out an early prototype of the La Riquezas -- Pete gave me one at the Big Smoke in 2007. It was the same blend but a different wrapper, I think. But that shit got smoked pretty quickly!
