Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Damn what a hoss. Took me a min to notice that he has another f'in opus in the same hand.. as if the football wasn't enough for him! What does he do when there is no football? smoke 5 opus at a time?I believe that picture is of Carlito Fuente. The only way to get a hold of someof those crazy Opus cigar sis to buy them at a Fuente Newman auction. The proceeds go towards thie FN Charity. I would make a wild guess that that is a $1000 cigar at auction if not more.
EDIT:
my bad this is a guy named Ariel, and I don't know who he is.

damn those are nice ...My rarest smokes are a pair of Garcia y Vega Bonded Havanas, circa 1940:

I bought these a few months ago to share with a friend of mine, but we haven't had a chance to smoke them yet. He and his wife are about to close on their first house, so maybe that will be a good excuse to fire these up.
Why don't ye check the Introductions room and tell us a tad about ye?Forbidden X
ah hahahahah so whatever you forget to smoke for a few years hahahahThe rarest cigar I have is the one that makes it out of my humidor without getting his ass smoked ...
As far as I know, it's the same brand. I believe these were drugstore cigars back in their day, though bonded Havanas were among the better drugstore cigars.I take it these are not the same Garcia y Vega they used to sell at 7-11. . .
Clear Havanas and bonded Havanas aren't terribly rare or expensive. (See http://gotham-cigar-museum.com for more details about these types of cigars.) I bought this pair on another board for around $40. $20 a stick is a bit pricey for me, but this was a unique opportunity. Unfortunately, these sticks were lost last night in a tragic fire. :smokingbodamn those are nice ...
its gonna be 70 years old in two years ...
how much did you get them for btw ??? must have spent a fortune on these ...
Now that's a rare one..just got in a new 5er. Dunhill Veraderos!
