I was pretty bored yesterday and decided to rewrap a couple of cigars. Since there are no lessons on this, I just winged it. I'm surprised I didn't technically ruin any cigars. Even though the cigars were doing just fine before I got to it :) I have always loved the pork tenderloin so here is my version of the pulled pork.

TAA '12 wrapper on J21.
Anejo Shark wrapper on J21.

Since I didn't want to waste the other two cigars I rewrapped the shark and TAA with the J21 wrapper. They are super ugly and I have no clue how it will end up tasting but I'll burn one down as soon as they get some rest.

Lol. Don't try this at home. Probably will be a waste of cigars and money...

Looks like you did a pretty nice job. I have done this with patches but never the whole cigar. Nice.

Ha! That's funny for me! Hope they smoke well bro.

Also, how did you get the wrappers moist enough to remove and then roll on the others? Quite the risk taker you are. I can dig it.

I sprayed the wrapper with distilled water and waited for the leaf to soften up enough to unwrap.

I have thought about this on a few occasions over the past few months and was just thinking about it tonight (was actually going to post a thread and see if anyone has tried this). Definitely interested to see how this turns out!

Before smoking them you may want to rest them for 30 or more days to reacclimate uniform humidity. Fwiw.

Edit. Just reread. Your already ahead of me.

Not too shabby looking. Definitely post up your findings, very interesting experiment. I think this would make for an interesting limited release if a couple companies got together and swapped wrappers or something.

That's pretty awesome Eddie! That'll be your own unique cigar. I don't have the patience for that now a days. However, I use to do that with machine rolls when I was younger and in college....wait...what was I saying?

I can't find the thread but didn't jfire or somebody play around with Liga wrappers and do some blind tests on taste, smoke production etc..? Really cool looking man.
