I went through about 6 last fall in a 24hr period when I got back into cigars. I bought a bunch of different ones and was trying them out. Since then I have had three in 24 hours once, but mostly 1 or 2 a week.

I had five but maybe more. I go to Amsterdam and Brugge occasionally and cigars are very cheap over there for their own dry cigars and some other countries as well. I end up just bringing boxes of them home and sitting in cafes all day while there smoking and drinking coffee - heaven.

Split a box of Dip 4's driving a moving van out to Colorado from Chicago just this March with my Dad. He did 13 I did 12.

I couldn't taste for a week and a half!

I checked 3 and that was after a day with 2. needless to say the last few knocked my head off. I upped the streangth on each cigar. not doing that one again for a long time.

oh yeah and by the way I'll be dissapearing for a month or so again on saturday and proably wont be hanging around much talking cigars makes me wanna smoke and i cant smoke right now so not the greatest thing to do but ill be around some

I have to disagree, sorry...but the times I have smoked more that 3, have been at the herf's I have been lucky enough to attend, sharing stories, trading cigars, talking about what your smoking and how you like it, with great BOTL's, and I never felt that any of the cigars I smoked was waste of time:thumbsup:

Cliff may be reffering to a waste of the cigar since your mouth gets a little icky and the taste buds may not be so sharp anymore.

But seriously, if there is an occasion where I know I will be smoking quite a few cigars, I found that changing up the cigar profile, light to med ect helps, also take a break between cigars and drink some water with a lemon or Iced tea :smokingbo
