Samples landed safely! Thanks again @ak2000! I have to say the plum cake smells amazing. And the maragate too! Now I just need to sit back and give these a whirl to see if they're in my wheelhouse and worth the chase.

Been working a lot of OT at work, so I haven't had time to light it up yet. I have the samples sitting by my pipe rack to remind me to smoke them first, when time allows.

Margate is fairly Oriental-forward, so that may be the issue. I find it similar to Squadron Leader, and I like it a bit more but don't love it. Pembroke (Margate with cognac), on the other hand, is amazing. haven't tried PLumcake yet, but have a tin waiting for me.
