LPF... What is that upon which you speak of in the post above mine? Please elaborate :dunno:
SMWS = Scotch Malt Whisky Society (of America) - www.smwsa.com The membership buy-in is expensive, but you get access (AKA you are allowed to buy their shit) to private one-off casks made for them by Laphroaig, Macallan, Ardbeg, Bruichladdich, and about 125 other distilleries. Full list is here: http://www.whiskyportal.com/smws/SMWS_codes_1.asp They put number codes on the bottles instead of distillery names to keep lazy people from buying all the good shit. Surprisingly that does work.

Their whisky is fecking awesome. Most of it is over 12yo and 25-34yo stuff is fairly common. Most is bottled at 110-130 proof. They put on whisky tastings every year all over the world (http://www.singlemaltextravaganza.com/) The best Laphroaigs, Caol Ila's, and Port Charlotte's I've ever had have all been SMWS casks.

I don't work for SMWS, but I do get extremely hammerred off their whisky often.

Also forgot to mention, they hand out shitty cigars (well, shitty to me now) at their events. That's how I got into smoking cigars in the first place!

Very nice bottles! I have a couple buddies that belong. I've also been to their single malt extravaganza a couple times. A great time indeed! Maybe one of these days I will join. Thanks for sharing those pics!

Some day I might be able to join but for a 23 year old guy like me... 229 is a bit steep to buy scotch.... But awesome stuff for sure I really like the idea!

I picked up an easy drinking case of Headwaters Pale ale at work today. I'm eligible for free beer next friday but I wanted some for tomorrow night/this weekend in a bad way.

Finally found some Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro!! Not close to my house unfortunately and wish I grabbed more than a six pack. I really liked the regular milk stout but this stuff is seriously on another level good!! Prob my favorite non imperial stout to date!

The Westbrook is their second anni. beer and freaking rocks. Buying as much as I can. My beer guy stashes bottles in the back for the "regulars" and he stumbled across some Bitches Brew he forgot about.
