So who is bracing for this wonderful winter bash the Midwest is about to get?

I'm currently living in the North suburbs of Chicago. Weather warnings tell me 1.5 to 2 feet of snow.

Weathermen are also predicting 18'-25' waves crashing onto LSD. This is gonna be cool to watch this play out.

We're getting ready for it here too, expecting a foot or more. We live about 40 miles from where we work so the wife and I are gonna grab a hotel room tomorrow night and just stay close by. (not going in is not an option, both work for police dept...lol)

This will be interesting to say the least. I'm doing my research at Northwestern, with the lake right outside our windows... I'll put up some pics if they'll be worth while seeing.

Here, in southwest Missouri, we're expecting a light glaze of ice tonight, and 12-18" of snow tomorrow. We're under a "Blizzard Warning"... interesting.

The weatherdudes are estimating 4-7" on Tuesday and then 16-20" on Wednesday. This has got to be the worst winter I've ever experienced by far.
