PAD and TAD?
Has anybody tried the MM hardwood pipes? They are made of cherry or maple wood. I think Pipes and Cigars have them for $4 or less.

Here is a great starter kit that I tell people to buy. It's 10 cob pipes that are great to smoke in and especially in the beginning of you mess it up some how or really hate a Baccy that you smoke and it ghosts it you can throw it out and not out a bunch.

Blunk's SFR arrived and it was a beauty. Inside was Orlik Sun Sliced which I have wanted to try since vaping a juice made from that blend. Plus it had Storm Front which I wanted to use for making vape juice. There was also some Villiger 1888 Early Days and Semoi's (?) Medium Cut.

I will get a pic up soon.
So who makes the e-juice from OGS!!??

A friend sent me a 30ml bottle of it. But it isn't hard to do. Stuff a small (glass) Ball baby food jar with OGS and completely cover it in PG. Then store it away for about 30 - 40 days. Then use a 5 micron piece of filter paper to strain the maceration into a glass bottle. Mix the extract with a PG/VG solution and let it age about two to four weeks. If you want more info on making your own vape juice from tobacco send me a pm.

I also recommend visiting myvapejuice.com if you're interested in naturally extracted vape juice. She has a huge selection made from name brand cigars and pipe tobaccos.

Thanks for the info. I've bought a few from N-E-T. It would be nice if I can make my own from my favorite baccy blends.

A couple of links that should help with any n.e.t desires. It can become as much of an obsession as TAD, PAD, of humidor stuffing. The first is a ton of info on vendors and their offerings. The others are information on making your own.

There is no need for apologies. The generosity is more than appreciated. I should get it Wednesday or Thursday and that is perfect. It means I'll have a little more time to practice without rushing. It all works out perfectly.

@plumber1965 I got the box last night. I will post a pic today if my phone cooperates. Thanks for the hit. I was stunned.

Two MM corn cobs, Frog Mortan, Dunhill, 4 noggins, and several others along with a pipe tool. The SFR was literally coming apart at the seems.

I'm on my third bowl and still trying to get the hang of it. I can get it going, but if I'm not puffing every thirty seconds it goes out. I have been working on my false light.

Are there any hints on stopping the pipe from smelling like ash. I dug out the ash and then let it cool for thirty minutes before running a cleaner through everything. I even bent the cleaner in a u shape and wiped out the bowl.

The pipe will need a little breaking in before that ash smell goes away. I suggest NOT wiping the bowl out because you want a little bit of "cake" to form in the bowl.

As for puffing to keep it lit, what I suggest instead is to use the tamper to keep the lit tobacco in contact with the tobacco below. THAT's the key to staying lit: tamping.

Finally, pack the pipe thus: .

This 90-second video will improve your experience immensely.
