BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Davo, I don't think its any concern unless you're planning to age them for 5-10yrs. Even then I don't know that its much of an issue. I keep mine seperate but that's only so I don't have to do as much digging through my humi.
As far as I know, most people separate their NCs from CCs only because they want them at different RH levels. If you dont mind them at the same RH you shouldn't worry about it, just dont store infused or flavored cigars with any of them

Next is humidity I know Cubans 65-69 and generally NCs 69-72 so ill just leave my boveda 69 pack and should be ok ??
Still waiting on my heart felt tubes think there 69 or is it 65 ( damn it !)

Those RH estimates are still pretty high. Personally I'd stick with 60-65 CC and 64-69 NC. Just me though.Sweet thx

I keep everything in the same humi, I just have them separate in different drawers. If it's all stuff you are smoking soon then it isn't a concern like everyone mentioned already....
Ok so update is I put a few more cigars in so appx 25 in total now, my heartfelt beads arrived (65%) plus I Teflon taped the analogue humidifier to get a good seal too. I'm still having high humidity 70-73 though what else can I do , coz it's starting to piss me off !!

Aren't the beads two way? I don't get how you'd still be in the 70s. Are the beads the only thing you have in there as far as humidification?

You shouldn't of sprayed the new beads if your humidity was that high. The cigars would of hydrated your beads. Take the beads out for a few hours. Open the lid for 10 mins. Close the lid. And put the beads back into the humidor. Is this a digital hygrometer you are using?

I put beads in wet then removed and replaced with dry ones to try help bring humidity down
Still high , it stays high even with boveda packs at 69%
I also thought heartfelt beads worked to help reduce and add humidity in my experience this hasn't been the case same as boveda
Humidor appears air tight nice soft closing woshing sound, analogue hygro taped in.
Don't know what else to do ??

Take the boveda out and just use the beads. Leave it open for 20 mins or so. This time of year if you are still in a colder area such as the Midwest or east. With using your homes hvac still, the dry air w lid open for 20-30mins should be fine.
