Started building my tobacco bodega (10' x 8' x 8').
Outer walls with red bricks, inside covered by cedar wood and cedar shelves.
I'll make the door (cedar) airtight to keep the bugs out.
I'm planning to buy around 500 lbs tobacco from Nicaragua in August.

That is amazing. Any chance of you selling any of that leaf?

The idea is to let the tobacco age for 1- 2 years. There is no producer who sells aged tobacco. Now day's the cigar factories age the tobacco to their standards.
I think the shipping from Honduras to the US will be expensive. When I'm back home I can always inform.

Notwithstanding, I would still be very interested in aging the leaf and paying the postage....

Finished my tobacco bodega a few weeks ago. It took me a month to bring the humidity down.
Yesterday I transferred my tobacco to it.
Will post some pics later.
Today started rolling : 54 x 6.5, a nice size for the evening to pair with my home made rum I have nearly 5 years on oak.
This of course after 6 months of resting !
