most guys i smoke with prefer the black, but i like the red much more than the black

I have to agree with the others, if you get the blacks they will be amazing but your going to have to sit on them for a bit - where as with the reds they are ready to be smoked

I am on my third box of blacks to one box of reds. Blacks with some age are very good IMHO

The black I had a little while back really didn't do much for me so I'm letting the rest, well, rest. So I'd vote for the Reds for now at least.

I bought multiple boxes of each and was EXTREMELY disappointed in the first sampling of Blacks. The Reds, however, were wonderful immediately.

I will say, though, the the last two Black Tubos I had showed marked improvement and were good, but not great, cigars. Perhaps they'll get there.

I enjoy that Blacks once they have 6 months or more age on them. Next week I will try to extort a bundle or two of the Reds from Pepin for my smoking pleasure. Havent had the opportunity to smoke the Reds yet.

Same as most are saying...Reds are good off the bat...Blacks need some time.

I had burn problems on the ones I have tried. If I could do it again I would just pick up 2 or 3 of each..

I like both. I have them stored in the tubes with caps off, so far no issues.
