Tat Verocu (red) Tubos......

I just opened up a red and black tube and didn't notice any paint smells, I will have the girlfriend give them a smell when she gets home. I would try one but the weather is not allowing for that.... :argh:

mmmmmm....that is a bummer on the initial taste. Prolly not a bad idea to pull em from the tubes/box for a week or so if u think there is some contamination. Should fade like with the dracs and be even more delicious! Thanks for the heads up!

let me just say that I am in no way saying I am outraged or upset or whatever...I will gladly continue to smoke the remaing sticks and I am sure they will be great....I just wanted to see if it had happened to anyone else. Since I have not smoked a black yet, I can't call it either way. This was just my initial experience, didn't mean to offend anyone.

The cigars themselves don't actually smell like paint, they smell great. It wasn't until I cut it and took a draw...thats when the taste of paint hit me.

Well Chuck the tubos were finished 6 months ago and there is no way they would give off a paint flavor. I do appreciate the feedback and will look into it but it makes no sense.
