I was gifted a couple of them by a local businessman that goes to Miami often.

He had made the comment that the place he bought them told him they were made with cuban tobacco. That is why he thinks they taste so good.

I tried it and loved it. It is a n/c I would always recomend.

Great line of cigars. I love the Tatuaje taino. We did a box split last year. Maybe it time for another?

tower cigar has a good selection of Tatuajes at a good (MSRP) price.

Just a reminder* These are small batch cigars, so if they're out of stock, you might have to wait awhile before they get more in.

The cubanesque description is spot on; you have to treat the Tatuaje just as you would any cuban cigar and smoke them fresh (tat's have a boxing date on the bottom) or store them for a year and let them develpoe over time.

I called the store today. The owner said the date on the box is July06. He will give me another Tat the next time I come in. He said I may have gotten a bad cigar, given the uneven burn and the cap unravelling. I read an article about another person that had a problem with uneven burn. I don't remember which Tat it was or the forum where I saw the article.
