Noticed some threads about specific fights but nothing about up coming MMA(UFC, WEC)bouts. Not to heavy into football but haven't missed a good MMA card in a long time. I didn't mention Affliction cause they might not be around much longer. This week is Franklin vs. Henderson I'm think'n Franklin gonna give Henderson his first KO.

BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Affliction is only a sponsor of the UFC though. Not a true series. It is a way for Affliction to sell even more clothing. hehe. Henderson is a good puncher though with good ground. It is going to be a good fight!
They used to be, they used the UFC for advertising then opened a promotion. There first show was called Banned cause thats what UFC did to there shirts. Afflictions 2nd show is coming up its called Day of Reckoning. But Henderson does have a good wrestling base and one hell of a chin. I just like Franklin always classy win, lose or draw.
I'm looking forward to the Fedor- Arlovski fight...

I'm not going to watch the Henderson fight because those are two guys that are past their prime, imo. Henderson was a really great wrestler in his day but he has been dismantled a couple times lately, notably by Anderson Silva. And Rich Franklin was never that great. I am, however, looking forward to the GSP vs Penn 2 fight at the end of the month. They are both still at the top of their games, however I don't see how Penn can overcome GSP. Pierre is a much better all around fighter, and GSP beat him when they were in the same weight class. Penn seems to be an even bigger underdog this time around.
Franklin is still young and its gonna be a LHW bout so they'll come in a little fresher not having to cut. Anderson Silva is also a muderer he can probably pick apart most LHWs too. BJ Penn and GSP is gonna be good though I'm looking forward to that one more to as well. They're both decent cards though.
He was fighting smart I guess he landed some good strikes but it had a crappy ending. His next fight is against Thailes Leites witch is a complete joke the only reason he won against Nate Marquart is cause Nate lost 2 points and 1 was for power bombing his ass.

Well Hederson beat Franklin barely. Shogun beat Coleman I don't care to see either of them fight again. Towards the end I was rootin for Coleman cuz shogun was suckin bad. Any other LHW would've killed Coleman in round 1, he's too old and he sure as hell isn't Randy Couture. Lytle and Davis was a good fight as well Davis got the best of the exchanges. While in a preview I learned Jackson will be fighting Jardine In UFC 96 witch I do not quite understand. But I'm thinking that the winner of Machida and THiago Silva will fight Evans for the title they will both have perfect records going into a five round fight. Should be interest. Hope I didn't bore anyone.:stretchgr
Saturday night GSP vs. Penn 2 plus Machida vs Thiago Silva. They are both gonna be good fights. Fedor smashed Arlovski this passed weekend he was actually doing good but came in with a flying knee and flew right into a fist spun him 180 deg.
