Seems like the over sold on ad time it was a lot of commercials

This....I usually watch after DVR'ing the show. I watched live last night and the amount of commercials seemed outrageous. Maybe that number of commercials is normal for an hour long show, but it sure didn't feel like it.

As for the story itself, I like seeing Carl become his own man. It looks like they are going to jump around from group to group each episode and I don't know if I like that or not. We'll see.

While the directors have always used awkward cuts that make it seem Blair Witch Project at times, last night's cuts were at weird spots and it seemed like they would cut go to an ad come back for 2-minutes and go back to another ad. It seemed really choppy last night, but glad to have it back. Also noticed a lot more zombie tie-in's in the ads.
