Diesel or k1 kero? But then smokey suet becomes an issue. I just buy a gal of citronella oil and complain like everyone else lol I do use diesel in ones bordering the yard since I'm not to close to them. But I am a southern fugger hidin in the woods;) lol

It just dilutes it, nothing more. Tap water would be just fine as well.

Kerosene works, too, but I'm not sure about the price comparison with isopropanol, however, I do believe the light burns brighter with kerosene.

Ahhh I see. Thanks Greg. I used to burn isopropyl in a different fixture but wasn't sure if it would work well with a wick. Don't see why it wouldn't though.
