Tiki torch fuel alternatives

Anybody know of any fuel alternatives for tiki torches? Torch fuel is getting a bit pricey for how much I light them.

Is bulk lamp oil any cheaper?

Diesel or k1 kero? But then smokey suet becomes an issue. I just buy a gal of citronella oil and complain like everyone else lol I do use diesel in ones bordering the yard since I'm not to close to them. But I am a southern fugger hidin in the woods lol

Buy a gallon of rubbing alcohol, add a couple tablespoons of distilled water, shake, burn.

It just dilutes it, nothing more. Tap water would be just fine as well.

Kerosene works, too, but I'm not sure about the price comparison with isopropanol, however, I do believe the light burns brighter with kerosene.

Ahhh I see. Thanks Greg. I used to burn isopropyl in a different fixture but wasn't sure if it would work well with a wick. Don't see why it wouldn't though.
