Have the opportunity to pick up a Bullet Single Barrel 8yr 52% store pick, apparently the first Single Barrel Bullet. $53 Any insight on this bourbon? I already have the small batch, the cask strength and the 10 yr. Should I peel the cabbage for this one?

Personally, I'd rather find a OF 1910 or 1920 in that same price range. Maybe WT Kentucky Spirit or Rare Breed. KC SiB picks... lots of good whiskey available in that price bracket.

They are making it out to be a rare opportunity but I tend to 2nd guess this kind of information when offered by a shop.

Went out for dinner last night and ordered a pour of Blanton's. Waiter came back and said they had just served the last pour from the last bottle. So I had a free pour of Booker's instead. And after dinner the owner bought me another one.

A BTPS after a long day. Took the day off and went hunting this morning then hung out with the fam the rest of the day. Almost successful hunt. Buck didn’t offer me a shot but consider it a win as I haven’t had a buck in bow range in 3 years mainly due to being busy with the kids.
