I don't think this is technically bourbon but I couldn't resist. Apparently they only allocated 66 bottles to the entire state and it had better be good for the price I payed....

Celebrating seeing & talking to my twin brother for the first time in 4 months. Figured it was worth a pour. Was thinking about reaching for the GTS, but I have plans for that in the coming month, so it’ll be worth the wait.

Took a drive and found a new to me shop. He was nice enough to put me on his email list for the barrel picks he's doing so I picked up a couple of bottles in appreciation




I think I got my money's worth on the Barrel Strength Bulleit clocking in at 62.7% ABV, The Michter's is a bit lower then I expected at 41.7% ABV
