Sorry no pics now but I enjoyed a great afternoon with some friends polishing off my bottle of local Lyon rum. Had a few cigars along the way. A Viaje 45, a Julius Caesar and an Isabela robusto.

Picked up a bottle of Rhum Barbancourt 15yr. My first Haitian rum and a really enjoyable smooth pour. Not overly sweet. Highly recommended

That’s a good and fair question. I’m not a big rum person. I like Zaya and a couple of the Appletons aren’t bad. I drink rum and Diet Coke, Mojitos, and Mai Tais using Bacardi. Tried this straight, on ice, and with Diet Coke. Didn’t care for it either way.

And I don’t care for Captain Morgan. I do like Malibu and Diet Coke.

Enjoying a couple pours of Grander Panama Rum with a My Father Flor de Las Antillas Sun grown. Pretty good pairing the rum is light, not too sweet and fits well with the medium bodied cigar.

Unfortunately I'm MC you can only buy at the state rum ABC stores. That means 90 bottles of garbage and 10 decent ones.

So, another night of Bacco 8 year aged. Luckily this one is definitely above average.
