  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I had a cigar I have never heard about or been able to find anything out about it. It was sent for my lotto win and it was awesome!
It was a VR 5th Ave.? It had another band on it like a EL band and I believe it was a 1995.
Terrific smoke!
Couple things...
These are only just now a year old. They were a special release commisioned to celebrate the 5th anniversary of some German tobacconist. Not sure which shop it was but possibly it was Chris Walters. I'm not the guy to ask though since I don't buy to much from CW.
About a month ago, talk on VCC was that these had gone sick. Perhaps since it was just a single of yours and not from a sealed box, the sick period has come and gone. I've got a few singles as well, I think I'll torch one soon to get my own opinion of this. When they were young, I heard more than a few guys say that these started off VERY boring. After about the first 1/3 though, they really developed some special notes and impressed most who smoked em.
Glad you liked it my friend!

Oh, toasted an 85 Romeo Churchill on Friday. Very good. I only really enjoy the Romeo profile when well aged. Anything less that like 10 years has never really impressed me. Not saying I can't find one I like, but I have never bought a box of em myself because every single I've ever had has just been blah. Perhaps its just bad luck. We'll see, maybe I'll pick up a 5er here and there and give em another try

Lit a 2 y/o Mc2 this afternoon at lunch with the guys. Very impressive. The 2 has been a cigar I've had horrible luck with in the past but it redeemed itself this afternoon. Everything the cigar should be. Yum!

No smoking for me this weekend guys. I even missed the Huricane Herf out at Herfin' Bigdog's house today.

I have a damn cold with a terrible sore throat...again. I had some longer than normal days with a ton more talking then normal last week and I think that is the cause.

Anyway, I HAVE to get over this before Saturday. :blob:

Cohiba IV. Meh. Started out with that familiar Cohiba taste but got kinda harsh towards the end. 10/04, probably should have buried it for a while, oh well.

Hey Gordon....how would you compare those Reyes with the Siglo I's? Smoked a JL PC today that was very nice.
