Stopped by the local B&M today in search of Oliva V Maduros. No luck, but I picked up a couple more V lanceros and smoked an Opus X Perfecxion #5 while I was there. That was only my second Opus X, and while it was a good smoke, I don't think I'd buy one again at that price (around $12, I think).

Asher, ye have no idea how pricey cigars are down here (a RP The Edge: ~$16-17 (it's the one that struck me the most as strange, since it is not near that good of a cigar)). Not to mention ISOMs!

be glad you didn't pay CA prices. We're between $18 and 30 for Opus around here.

Yeah, $12 (with tax) isn't bad at all for an Opus X, but I enjoy the V lanceros more, and I paid $5 a stick for those today.

I had a RP fusion. I ended up putting it down 1/2 way through. It was one of the toughest drawing cigars I have had. Really nice flavor but just too little smoke to appreciate it. Then I lit up a Flor de Oliva Robusto. It is a very sweet cigar. Almost like it was dipped in sugar water or something. It also has some nice vanilla notes. It was so much easier to smoke.

I'm at work, and I just lit up a DPG Blue "A". We have 5 hours till we shoot the next scene, and I'm to far to drive home and nap.

This will be my 2nd "A". I sure loved the first..!
