BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I don't smoke a ton of Fuente-Newman products and haven't had a Diamond Crown in years. Not sure what I was expecting but it was heavier bodied and spicier than I thought it would be....very consistent throughout.

An A.J Fernandez creation available exclusively at J.R Cigars. If you like A.J you'll like this. It starts off with earth, coffee, cocoa, red pepper, and a touch of sweetness. The flavors evolve from there in to oak, coffee, coco, and fruity sweetness at the one inch mark. A little nut makes its way in from the Ecuadorian Oscuro wrapper.
Speaking of the wrapper, I was watching my six for George Bush and Dick Cheney. This thing is beautifully oily with little sparkles from flecks of minerals. It looks like a Tatuaje broadleaf wrapper to some degree. This a beautiful wrapper in the sunlight.

The second third evolves in to an earthy oak that is tasty and relaxing. Then the flavors of coco and roasted coffee come back as supporters with a gentle and intriguing black pepper. There is a lot going on here for a five dollar smoke. My only complaint is that one side isn't pressed as tightly and required a few touches. If smoked at a decent sixty second pace the touches do not mar the taste.
