Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Honestly It's one of the most plain styles and doesn't have a lot of room for interpretation. Basically English base malt, little bit of crystal, handful of roast for color/dryness, and almost no hops. It's all about the malty caramel notes and red color, that's about it.That's one style I've had very little of.... I think one of the only ones I remember is one from Sam Adams. It was OK.... Lol great now I have to try and find some Irish red.... Any recommendations?
True, but when properly executed is damn tasty imo.Honestly It's one of the most plain styles and doesn't have a lot of room for interpretation.
