A good friend invited me to try deep trolling, 150 feet of line out and down rigger at 75 ft. Water was 125- 250 deep.
Beautiful day but the fish had lockjaw.

Montecristo No. 2 - February 2018

I’ve had good luck with late 2017 and early 2018 Cubans so I decided to light this Monte No. 2 up. While the construction is top notch, it’s still a young cigar and will need some time. The flavors are that of graham cracker, cocoa, sea salt, and a sweet caramel; said flavors are just muted right now. They don’t pop or shine. I’ll revisit these every couple months.
