Any fans here? I can't get enough of it. Season 3 starts in june. The way season 2 left off should make for some good episodes in this season. Also i haven't read any of the books so i have no idea where the story goes which is nice.

From what i hear the series is nothing like the book. tara is barely even mentioned in the book according to my bookworm friend. Regardless, I think it is one of the best shows ever. I have the season one on blue ray and plan on adding the season two as soon as available. Lots of cool extra features.
Oh really? so the dvd is worth buying?? All the episodes are constantly on my hbo on demand so i have never needed to buy the dvd's to rewatch the episodes but now that you say they have cool extras i might have to.

I listened to all the audiobooks, before I realized it was what the TV show was based off of. The first season stayed fairly close to the first book. The second season quickly went way off base, and took off on it's own. I really enjoyed season one, but two seemed to be getting a bit over the top towards the end.

DVR set so I can watch it live and over again and again. Am I a fan? Hell yeah!
The wife's friend read the books and apparently they are vampire porn with the main character getting laid by vampires and other supernatural creatures, which is unlike the series which has her getting laid by vampires and ........ :halfgrinw Can't wait for the new series in the UK, funny that the lead vampire male is English, you'd never guess from his southern accent, well I wouldn't be able to tell living in Yorkshire!
