tube ageing increases flavor and aroma because it is not escaping into the air.
Biggest concern is mold, if the cigars are packed too moist, you can get mold.
solution is to remove caps for a week(in your humi ),and let them dry a bit.
Check them in a few weeks. Repeat if needed.
I have several old tubos that are so good I keep them for special occasions.
Young tubos are also nice for the intense flavor and aromas,again from being packed in tubes.....

I was reading that when you buy a box of tubos that you should remove the sticks from the tube before putting them in your humidor due to the fact that they are great for transporting them but they don't age well. What do you do? Leave em in or take em out?

What you read is wrong. Theoretically, what the author is on about relates to fermentation cycles and ammonia expelled by aging tobacco (consult the Min Ron bible for more detail). Tubos are not air tight, and they do a better job of preserving the tobacco than open air. Cello or no cello? Cello.
