Incredible!!! You should give Good Morning America a piece of your mind too for promoting this crap!

Man the concept is there. . . looks like they spent too much on that fancy advertising and not on actually making them spill proof

that sucks man

Well, they stil have not charged us yet so we are holding on to the mugs until then.

I used one this morning and the coffee was frustratingly cold within a half hour of leaving the house and the "tip and sip" feature blows, unless you like a thimbles worth of coffee every sip.

Tell me about it.

We are starting to think the delay was due to a manufacturing problem and they had to do something drastic...like change methods/locations because it would be a huge stretch to go on and on about these like they did on Good Morning America.

That would make sense.

That is not shocking that the delay would occur after being mentioned like that, but it is sad that you get a half a sip everytime... there is nothing worse than that

You can set it to a regular setting and sip like normal but the mechanism to switch from closed (using that word loosely) and sip is so awkward I had to leave it open and that just accelerated the cooling of the coffee.

Well, these mugs finally arrived today. They are crap. Their website states the mugs are "completely sealed and 100% spill proof". Well, in the locked postiion the water just pours out, almost as fast as it does in the open position. :dunno:

Also they don't retain the heat very well compared to my current $7 mug or my wife's crappy mug.

They are sharp looking mugs but they are most likely going to be returned. After the run around we got waiting for them it should be intersting to see how difficult it is to return them.

If anyone can host a .mov for me I can upload a video of the spill proof seal. :hysterica
Well, Rach picked up a new mug at Bed, Bath, and Beyond today...looks like a keeper.
