Anyone see any hitting shops? I've heard its out in the TX area but that was it. A couple of shops in DC are supposed to get them (there were 2 that didnt' have Long waiting lists) but they said they sell out in minutes so its totally a luck thing. G1

If you don't mind me asking, what shops are you referring too (so I can try my luck )?

Scored some lot B last night. Initially said they had 15 year but were mistaken. The hunt continues for me....

I stopped by my local and got on the list.

To prevent non-local customers this is their policy,

Provide a business card with a local area code phone number. If not local number you are not on the list. When the goods come in I will get a call if a bottle is available.

I was told they may only get 12 bottles. With me the list is 19 strong and was told MAKE SURE YOU ANSWER YOU PHONE WHEN HABERSHAM BEVERAGE POPS UP ON THE CALL ID.

Also, my guy said many people will not respond so he just works down the list.

I'm not sure if this is the best system or not but not too much effort to get a bottle....fingers crossed.

Very happy to report I purchased a bottle of the 10 year old for $44.93 today in Savannah. My first bottle of ORVW, I am really looking forward to finally trying some.

I'll take a pic and post it up for fun, even though, I know you all know what it looks like.

Well it has been a good year for me on this front. I have picked up 3 bottles of 12year old Pappy Van Winkle. I could have picked up a 20 year old but i just do not have the cash, probalble should not have bought three bottles but oh well.
