I am working on about 3-1/2# right now after its dehydrates i will have about half that in jerky. And then my kids will get in it and i will end up with none. I keep telling them there eating Bambi but that wont stop them.
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
What spice did you use? Did ye put some heat on it?

I agree, I have a 2' tall pepper mill that i hook up to a cordless drill that helps. If don't do it that way i get cramps in my hands.

You need to start a business! Sounds like you have this on lock! I know a couple buyers4-1/2 hrs. and its done turned out pretty nice. I used to just thinly slice the meat but now i grind it all and use the jerky caulk gun. It works awesome not the cheap one the break to easy. And my old dehydrator sucked this one is way faster and can add lots of trays i have 9 at the moment. You no its like everything else if you buy junk you will get junk.
