Venison Jerky

I am working on about 3-1/2# right now after its dehydrates i will have about half that in jerky. And then my kids will get in it and i will end up with none. I keep telling them there eating Bambi but that wont stop them.

I start with Nesco original jerky spice then i kick it up a notch are two.

I agree, I have a 2' tall pepper mill that i hook up to a cordless drill that helps. If don't do it that way i get cramps in my hands.

4-1/2 hrs. and its done turned out pretty nice. I used to just thinly slice the meat but now i grind it all and use the jerky caulk gun. It works awesome not the cheap one the break to easy. And my old dehydrator sucked this one is way faster and can add lots of trays i have 9 at the moment. You no its like everything else if you buy junk you will get junk.
